Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Fly Cast Coach ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your information. Fly Cast Coach is part of the Daisy app family.

1. Practising and scoring stay on your device

The core of Fly Cast Coach — practice drills, motion sensing, and scoring — runs entirely on your phone (and Apple Watch, if paired). No account is required to use it, and your raw motion data never leaves your device. Only your scores are kept, stored locally, so you can see your progress over time.

2. Apple Watch and HealthKit

If you practise with a paired Apple Watch, the app briefly starts a HealthKit workout session purely to keep the Watch's motion sensors active during a cast. This session is discarded the moment practice ends — it is never saved to your Health app and never transmitted anywhere.

3. Optional account — Sign in with Apple or Google

Signing in is entirely optional and only needed to challenge a friend to match your score, or to restore a Fly Cast Pro purchase on a new device. If you choose to sign in:

• We use Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In, handled natively on your device — we never see your password.
• We receive your name (if you choose to share it) and a unique identifier from that provider, which we store via Supabase, our database provider, to create your Fly Cast Coach profile.
• You can sign out or ask us to delete your account and its data at any time — see Contact below.

4. Challenging a friend

Sending a challenge to a friend creates a small record (your score and, if you're signed in, your display name) so the challenge link can show the result. Challenges can also be sent without signing in, in which case no identifying information is attached.

5. In-app purchases

Fly Cast Pro purchases are processed and managed through RevenueCat. Apple (or Google, on other platforms) handles your actual payment details — we never see your card information. RevenueCat receives your purchase and entitlement status so Pro features unlock correctly and can be restored on a new device.

6. Website analytics

The Fly Cast Coach website (flycastcoach.com) uses Google Analytics to understand aggregated, anonymous visitor traffic. This only runs on the website — it does not run inside the iPhone or Apple Watch app.

7. What we don't do

• We don't sell your data.
• We don't show ads or share your data with advertisers.
• We don't use any third-party trackers beyond the services named above.

8. Children's privacy

Fly Cast Coach is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Significant changes will be noted here with an updated date.
